Wide screen, pocket sized, and easy to use, those are the words Magellan uses to describe the Maestro 4220. At 0.7” deep, Magellan has redesigned their Maestro units to be even slimmer than before, and they are still able to pack the 4220 with tons of features. At the heart of the unit is a 12-channel SiRFStar III, WAAS GPS antenna for superior satellite tracking and reception. The Maestro 4220 is powered by the included 12 volt adapter or it can run off the built in Li-ion battery for approximately 3 hours of use.

Loaded to every Maestro 4220 is the entire Navteq database for the United States, Canada and Mexico including 6 million Points of Interest. Simply use the touch screen to enter a specific address or particular point of interest and the Magellan Maestro 4220 will generate a route to your destination. With the Magellan QuickSpell technology the Magellan 4220 will eliminate letter choices bringing you to your street name or POI name faster. Once you are underway the Maestro 4220 will guide you with both verbal and on screen directions to safely route you to your destination. If that is not enough, the Maestro 4220 will also announce the name of the street that you are turning onto using Magellan’s SayWhere technology with Text-to-Speech. If you get off track, the 4220 will recalculate your route and get you back on track within seconds. If you have multiple destinations, the Maestro 4220 will route you in the order that you request or you can have the Maestro optimize the route for you and take you the most efficient way. With the Maestro 4220 on your windshield for your next road trip, you will navigate confidently and most important safely to your destination.
